Spend part of your day visiting a fun-filled, information-packed, free Health and Fitness event at the spacious Forest Hills Fine Arts Center. Hosted by Forest Hills Community Services. The other part of the day, visit the Chihuly exhibit at Frederik Meijer Gardens, just four short miles away from the Fine Arts Center.
At the Forest Hills Fine Arts Center, anytime between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., enjoy:
Healthy Living Lecture Series. Located in the 1,200-seat Fine Arts Center Theater (known for its fine acoustics and comfortable seating). Doctors and other experts will present on the latest health issues for adults age 50+. Followed by plenty of time for questions and answers.
In addition, there will be...Health screenings, including cholesterol, blood sugar, bone density, etc.; Massages for shoulders and necks; Cooking Demos; Healthy Snacks; Door Prizes; Mini Fitness Classes in Zumba Lite, Yoga, Pilates, and more; Vendors in our spacious, sunny lobby providing information, samples, and more giveaways!

Frederik Meijer Gardens is featuring artist Dale Chihuly’s 15 monumental glass sculptures. These stunning displays will be in diverse locations both indoors and out. In addition, enjoy lunch or a snack in the newly expanded and renovated Café, which now seats 170!
Tour cost is normally $10 per person which includes admission, guided tour and tram cost. However, if your group attends the Health & Fitness Day at the Forest Hills Fine Arts Center before or after the Chihuly exhibit at Meijer Gardens (on 5/26/10 only), receive the discounted rate of $7 per person!
