Rina:  We had five vans many years ago but collaborated when the county set up the Southeast Michigan Area Transportation system we call Lake Erie Transit which provides limited demand response, portal to portal, line haul that stops at the Center about every hour from 7 am to 6pm and handicapped accessible with lifts.  We also have 25 volunteer drivers who take participants to medical treatment facilities locally and to Toledo, Ann Arbor and Detroit for cancer treatments.  aaron

We have a transportation program.  We have one 12 passenger bus we received through and MDot grant and a four-door sedan that we purchased ourselves.  We had a demand response system that operates Monday - Friday.   We have a $12,000 specialized services grant and $7000 from the United Way and from donations and suggested donations from our riders.

Our centers are connected with the Council on Aging which operates a county-wide transportation system. We operate four buses and serve seniors and disabled. We also have a 14 passenger van that we use for senior center outings.
